At the September 2 Wake Forest Board of Commissioners work session, Mayor Vivian Jones announced her intention to proclaim October as “Pride Month.” Commissioner Faith Cross was the only member of the board to speak up against this proclamation. We encourage you to stand with Commissioner Cross by contacting Mayor Jones and the Wake Forest Board of Commissioners. Please let them know that you do not support this proclamation and urge them not to move forward with it.
