Founded in 2011, the North Carolina Values Coalition (“NC Values”) is a statewide, non-partisan, and non-profit 501(c)(4) grassroots coalition consisting of North Carolinian neighbors who value life, family, & religious freedom. As an organization, NC Values exists to build a coalition of believers across NC that witnesses to these fundamental values, and heralds their God-oriented ability to beautifully produce individual and social human flourishing.
During 0ur 11+ year history, our small state organization sure has done a lot of political orienteering!
Since we got started, we have produced a whopping 10,576+ individual acts of communication focused on helping our NC neighbors navigate their pro-life, pro-family, and pro-religious liberty values. The list includes 55+ text message initiatives; 90+ highly targeted digital ad campaigns; 115+ press email blasts; 586+ written website articles; 1,386+ produced email blasts, and 8,344+ published individual social posts (and counting!).
As a result, we’ve been blessed to see 104,646+ of our neighbors join our coalition. Equipped with our engagement tools and education initiatives, our like-hearted coalition fellows have also generated some impressive numbers of their own, all while navigated an increasingly post-modern culture! Together, supporters have used our click-to-contact tools to call and email 691 different North Carolina legislators and public officials. In addition to contacting Senators Burr and Tillis over 10,000+ times a piece, over 10 years 32,737+ coalition advocates have contacted 313 different individual legislators from all 13 congressional districts, all 120 State House districts, and all 50 State Senate districts. That’s in addition to calling and emailing 379 different local, gubernatorial, school board, county commission, and many other public officials (such as NC Attorney General Josh Stein, whose our 5th most contacted figure).
In all, over 32,737+ of our supporters have opted to use our tools to deliver a whopping 282,220 individual phone calls and emails to these 691 public officials. All while still finding the time to open our emails 3,859,375+ times!
However, just as important is the work the coalition and our communications have performed witnessing to our increasingly secularized, paganized, and post-modern culture. Over the past few years, we have had individuals click 391,615+ links within our communications; 448,705+ new individuals visit our website; 547,266+ engagements—such as shares and comments—with our published content; and finally, 3,147,373+ plays on our online video content (of which, 149,853+ were watched in their entirety).
Remarkably, for an organization as small as ours, we have reached an estimated 1,583,944+ individuals over these past 10 years!
