CANDIDATE FOR NC GOVERNOR JOSH STEIN CONFIRMS HE SUPPORTS PAINFUL LATE TERM ABORTION

NC Values’ Executive Director Tami Fitzgerald made a statement today about Attorney General and Gubernatorial candidate Josh Stein’s support for late term abortion:

“Josh Stein confirmed his radical position yesterday in support of painful dismemberment abortion into the seventh month of gestation when babies feel pain, have sleep cycles, and respond to sound,” said Fitzgerald. “Third trimester babies cry in the womb in reaction to pain, but Stein and his party support the unthinkable, tearing a child apart limb from limb without any pain medication and calling it reproductive freedom. Stein says abortion is on the ballot, but I say it’s our basic humanity.”
