Did you know that 1 in 3 Christians don’t vote?
That’s about 25 million people!
For months, our grassroots team has been busy across the state hosting “Write Now” campaigns to try and change that awful statistic.
In cities like Statesville, Charlotte, Kannapolis, Rocky Mount, and more, our grassroots coordinators and supporters have been meeting in homes and churches to reach out to neighbors and encourage them to vote. These “Write Now” writing events equip individuals to send personalized hand written notes to North Carolina Christians unlikely to vote in the upcoming election. Our partner, My Faith Votes, has created an easy process where individuals are provided a list of voters, letter templates, and prayerful encouraging notes to send out to individuals.
Our next event will be occurring in Garner on September 28th at Lorraine’s Coffee House and Music at 12pm. If you are in the area, we would love to invite you to join us for this outreach event.
If you have been unable to attend any of our past events, and are interested in hosting a “Write Now” event at your home or church, we invite you to check out WriteNow2024.org and signup to write your neighbors. After you create an account and select the number of letters you want to send, just make sure you select “NC Values” under the “Referring Partners” dropdown so we have an idea of how many Christians we’re reaching.
In addition to writing hand letters to our neighbors, NC Values is involved in a number of other activities focused on impacting the upcoming election. Whether it’s through grassroots, get out the vote digital ad buys, free voter guides, or the many other election tools we offer at ncvalues.org/vote, we are doing everything in our power to get pro-values candidates elected.
Sincerely,
Tami & Team
