Pro-Life Rally

We have formed an alliance of pro-life groups across the state to stand together in support of SB 20, "Care for Women, Children, and Families Act," while Governor Roy Cooper partners with Planned Parenthood for a rally to support his veto. Please JOIN US this coming Saturday, May 13, 2023, to unify our voices to support mothers and preborn babies. Recently, the NC General Assembly passed historic legislation in response to Roe v. Wade being overturned by the U.S. Supreme Court last year! The “Care for Women, Children, and Families Act,” is a much-anticipated pro-life bill designed to save at least 4,000 unborn precious babies each year from the atrocity of abortion, and likely thousands more. After months of negotiation, legislators agreed on a bill to move the 20-week abortion limit back to 12 weeks, and greatly restrict chemical abortions that are administered by taking two pills. Roy Cooper has announced he is vetoing this legislation on Saturday, and he is holding a rally with Planned Parenthood. He has specifically targeted 4 of our Republican lawmakers to stop the override of his veto. We want to show a clear presence of support for these lawmakers to override the veto and to withstand the pressure from the bullying of Governor Cooper! Instructions for Day of: May 13, 2023 Rally to be held at 10am in front of the Legislative Building (16 W Jones St, Raleigh, NC 27601). see map below with red circle A group will be getting there early at 9:30am and meeting in the parking lot to walk over together. see map with yellow circle Note the blue circle is where the Cooper/Planned Parenthood rally is being held. Mallory Finch, with Those Other Girls, will be the point person to look for. She will be wearing a pink shirt.   Please feel empowered to bring signs, your best pro-life gear, a positive attitude, and your phones! We will have multiple speakers to rally the troops. 2024 Legislative Day of Action

Our annual Legislative Day of Action is on May 15th, 2024. We'll be meeting at 10am in front of the Legislative Building (16 W Jones St., Raleigh, NC). We could use your help. Our Legislative Day of Action is one of the opportunites we provide to help you share your voice with your representatives. This year, our legislative effort is focused on strengthening parental rights by: 1) restoring parental consent for all minors of medical care, 2) removing obscene books in schools, and 3) adding civil penalties for violation of SB49. If those issues are important to you, In addition to joining us for our in-person event, would you consider visiting ncvalues.org/parents and signing our petition to strengthen parental rights legislation in North Carolina? Letter to the American Church Movie Night

LOCATION: Benvenue Baptist Church, 2464 Benvenue Rd,Rocky Mount, NC 27804 NC Values is partnering with My Faith Votes, who has identified Christians that are not likely to vote in the upcoming election. We are going to gather with fellow Christians in Nash and Wilson counties to enjoy light refreshments while we assemble letters to be sent to these Christians.
