📝 Join us for Write Now in Cabarrus

Second Baptist Church Kannapolis 807 Sweetgum St.,,, Kannapolis, NC

1 in 3 Christians—that’s about 25 million people—do not vote. But YOU can help change that statistic! Millions of people choose to sit on the sidelines during elections because they feel alone in standing for our Biblical values or simply just do not know what they can do to make an impact. Join the movement in mobilizing Christians to vote by encouraging them to vote our Biblical values – encouraging others to vote is easier than you may think! The Write Now Campaign provides the tools, all you need to do is write! We’ll come together for fellowship and letter writing. A sample letter will be provided. Date: Monday, October 7, 2024 Time: 6-8pm. Stay as little or as long as you’d like. Pizza will be provided. Place: Second Baptist Church - Kannapolis 807 Sweetgum St. Kannapolis, NC 28083 Kindly RSVP to Jessica Hughes at [email protected] or 704.224.2258

Mama Bear Workshop (Cape Carteret, NC)

Cape Carteret Baptist Church 101 Anita Forte Dr., Cape Carteret, NC, United States

Just because a parent sends their child to public school doesn’t mean they lose their fundamental right to know and have a say in what their child is being taught. Parents have always maintained local control over government schools for that very reason—so their court-recognized right to oversee the education and upbringing of their children is honored by the public schools. Unfortunately, progressive activists have targeted schools as a primary conduit of social change. After all, children represent our future. The values that are instilled in them will become the culture that shapes tomorrow. That is why it is critical that parents remain in control when it comes to exactly what their children are learning on a daily basis. Protecting our children from harmful curriculum and indoctrination in school is a battle for their very hearts and minds. We must not only fight it; we must win because their souls are at stake! We’ll be having a number of Mama Bear workshops across North Carolina to help you do just that. To RSVP for our Cape Carteret Mama Bear Workshop event, click here.
