For three years, NC Values has been working on legislation that would protect school girls from being forced to compete in sports against transgenders who are biological males. A couple of months ago, we shared with you the news that the NC House passedβ€”and the NC Senate advancedβ€”our “Fairness in Women’s Sports Act” (HB 574, SB 631).

The “Fairness in Women’s Sports” bill protects females from being forced to play against biological males on sports teams, which can leave females with injuries and cheats them out of equal opportunities. Tomorrow marks an important moment in the bill’s progress. A Senate Committee vote determining its future is scheduled for 11am.

Your NC Senators need to hear from you before then!

Allowing trans women to compete in female sports favors activists over athletes and imperils the integrity of female sports. Research is clear that biological males have bigger muscles, stronger bones, tougher ligaments, greater lung capacity and, overall, physiologically superior to biological females.

If you believe we should save women’s sports, would you consider using this handy tool to contact your NC Senators before it’s too late, and ask them to pass the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act?

Dear Neighbor,

Allowing trans women to compete in female sports favors activists over athletes and imperils the integrity of female sports. Research is clear that biological males have bigger muscles, stronger bones, tougher ligaments greater lung capacity and, overall, physiologically superior to biological females. The athletic advantage of biological men over women varies from around 10% in running to 50% depending on the sport. The advantage changes only slightly with hormone suppressing drugs.

If you believe we should save women’s sports, would you consider using this handy tool to contact NC officials and ask them to pass the Fairness in Women’s Sports Act (H574 and S631)?
