NC VALUES MAKES SECOND ROUND OF CONGRESSIONAL ENDORSEMENTS
NC Values Coalition endorsed two more candidates in North Carolina Congressional races for the primary season, Virginia Foxx (CD 5) and Chuck Edwards (CD 11).
“Congresswoman Virginia Foxx is an outspoken advocate fighting for life and human rights of the unborn. She stands against public funding of abortions, human trafficking and champions religious freedom,” said NC Values Executive Director Tami Fitzgerald. “In addition, Congresswoman Foxx introduced the Families Rights and Responsibilities Act to affirm parental rights and protect families from federal overreach. North Carolina has an advocate for family values and religious freedom with Congresswoman Foxx and we fully support her return to Congress.”
“Congressman Chuck Edwards is a pro-life member of Congress who cares about both pregnant women and their babies. He supported the Pregnant Students’ Rights Act to require publicly funded colleges and universities to inform pregnant students about their rights and resources to help them choose life. Congressman Edwards also voted for the Supporting Pregnant and Parenting Women and Families Act to protect pregnancy care centers,” said Fitzgerald. “Congressman Edwards also introduced The Stop Pot Act to block certain federal funding t states and tribes allowing recreational marijuana and sponsored legislation to protect election integrity. NC Values appreciates Congressman Edwards’ advocacy for North Carolina values and is excited to see him re-elected.”
NC Values also endorsed Fred Von Canon (CD 13), Mark Harris (CD 8), Laurie Buckhout (CD 1) and Grey Mills (CD 10) for Congress. Voters can access NC Values’ partner iVoterGuide for more information on candidates.
