We are already over a week into early voting, and only seven days away from a very important midterm Election Day!
If you are able, we would be grateful if you go vote early for pro-values congressional, judicial, legislative, and school board candidates, such as those we’ve endorsed. You can also check out a sample of your ballot and how pro-values your candidates are via our sponsored 2022 iVoterGuide. Check out these resources and other important election information on our 2022 Election Toolkit.
You have until Saturday, November 5th, at 3:00pm to beat the hassle of Election Day crowds by voting early in-person. If you have not registered to vote, you can still do it in-person during one-stop voting. However, if you are unable to vote in person for whatever reason, we encourage you to vote from the comfort of your home via an absentee ballot.
Today is the LAST day to submit a request to vote absentee. Per the NCSBE, there are two ways to do so:
- “Online with “Option 1 – Request an Absentee Ballot” at the N.C. Absentee Ballot Portal.
- On paper with the English N.C. Absentee Ballot Request Form for 2022 (fillable PDF).”
Furthermore, incase you are worried about your vote getting counted, you can now “[t]rack your absentee-by-mail ballot through the mail: Once you have requested your absentee ballot, you can track its status from printed to accepted by signing up online for status notifications through BallotTrax. Ballottrax will be available for the November 8, 2022 Election starting September 1, 2022.”
