In North Carolina’s 13th Congressional District primary run-off voters will choose between vastly different candidates, Brad Knott and Kelly Daughtry. This district heavily leans Republican and the candidate who wins this run-off will likely be serving in the US Congress in 2025.
Despite the Daughtry Campaign’s doctored photos falsely picturing Knott with President Biden, those following the race closely know it is Daughtry who has shown financial and other support to far-left Democrats. Daughtry stated publicly she would vote for Barack Obama and donated to radical abortion supporters Josh Stein and Cheri Beasley. She also donated to Governor Roy Cooper’s judicial appointee, Democrat Mark Davis. Although you won’t find Daughtry telling the public her views on abortion, we know she has supported candidates who believe in abortion up to the point of birth. At an event Daughtry told a NC Values staff member that she supports abortion up to 20-weeks of gestation. At 20-weeks the method for abortion is painful dismemberment.
Brad Knott publicly proclaimed his position to protect the unborn and pregnancy care centers which are under attack by the left. On his website Knott states, “Faith-based crisis pregnancy centers, which provide help to women and promote alternatives to abortion, are under attack from pro-abortion extremists and left-wing politicians. I will fight to protect them.” Knott is also against school indoctrination, CRT, transgenderism, supports school choice and parental rights and affirmed his positions on iVoterGuide as well, where he was rated Conservative. Daughtry was rated as Moderate.
Daughtry’s website does not list one social issue such as school indoctrination or abortion, and she did not answer the iVoterGuide survey, so we do not know where she stands on these important issues. Her donations to extreme pro-abortion candidates and silence on the social issues signals that conservative family values are either unimportant to Daughtry or she isn’t on our side of those issues. The conservative-leaning District 13 should send a candidate to Washington DC who will not waver in protecting the unborn, and that candidate is Brad Knott.
We have endorsed Brad Knott in the primary run-off because he boldly proclaims his support for family values which are rooted in his Christian faith. Professionally he has prosecuted drug cartel cases and will also be strong on crime, border security, and trafficking.
Run-offs typically have a low-voter turnout. We ask you to make voting in this election a priority, and to share this email with family, friends, and church members.
Early voting for the primary run-off starts TODAY, April 25th, and ends at 3pm on May 11th. Election day is May 14th. We strongly encourage you to get out and vote early for the conservative in the race, Brad Knott.
